Jan Čapek is a renowned Czech designer with extensive education and experience in various areas of design and art. During his studies, Jan Čapek made time for a two-year internship in New York, where he worked in the Stastny Lapidary stone polishing factory for prestigious brands such as Tiffany & Co. and Harry Winston.

Jan Čapek's most famous designs include the design of PET bottles for Karlovy Vary mineral waters, glasses for Plzeňský prazdroj, inflatable toys the dog Bulík and the formula and washing machine "Washman" for Electrolux, which are highly appreciated by both experts and the general public.

He won a number of awards for his work, the most prestigious being the Designer of the Year in the Czech Grand Design competition. And that twice – in 2013 and 2017.
